


William Gamache currently resides in Tillamook, Oregon. He is currently teaching middle school band and elementary beginning band in Tillamook School District, and also works as a brass specialist with the Silverton HIgh School Marching Band. He has recently completed his master's of music in trombone performance at Colorado State University under Dr. Chris Van Hof, and previously taught middle school band and high school band in Colorado beginning in 2012.
Mr. Gamache currently performs with the Pranksters Big Band and the Rose City Trombones, and his past performing ensembles include baritone horn in the Colorado Brass. bass trombone in the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra, principal trombone of the CSU Wind Symphony and CSU Symphony Orchestra, lead trombone of CSU's Jazz Ensemble I, lead trombone and bass trombone of the Fort Funk Brass Band, euphonium and bandleader of Neue Polka Colorado, section trombone in the Flatirons Jazz Orchestra, sousaphone in Guerrilla Fanfare, and Eb bass tuba in the Western State College Brass Band, among others. Mr. Gamache has performed in pit orchestras on alto trombone, tenor trombone, bass trombone, and tuba for productions of Sweeney Todd, The Mikado, Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, The Music Man, Die Fledermaus, A Little Nigh Music, and Mozart's Die Zauberflöte.
In addition to his public school teaching and performing opportunities, Mr. Gamache maintains a brass studio in the Portland area where he teaches trumpet, trombone, euphonium, and tuba with an intentional focus on beginner and middle school pedagogy.
